Associate Web Application Developer

Designed, created, and maintained websites using various software, including NetObjects Fusion, Dreamweaver, and Microsoft FrontPage. Researched sites for inclusion in databases; converted published documents into HTML format; created and edited website images. Created and maintained DrinkingH2O.com, a resource for the drinking water community. Developed HTML versions of various reports for the US EPA, including the Draft Report on the Environment, as well as the original site organization and design of the MAIA website and various sections of the Biodiversity website. Assisted in the development of the MAIA Virtual Office site using Lotus Notes/Domino. Created web interfaces for the ArcIMS-based Tucson Water Quality Data website and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Community-Based Mapping portal. Developed interfaces for various database-driven sites using ColdFusion and Zope. Developed print logos and other marketing materials.

  • Tsunami Link Bracelets - Original design and development. Volunteer website to raise money to aid tsunami victims.
  • Cooperative Research Partners Initiative - Website for NOAA Fisheries' program to formalize and expand collaborative research among New England's commercial fishing industry, marine science, and fishery management communities. Original website design and current maintenance.
  • DrinkingH2O.com - An online information system for the drinking water community; Original website design and organization, redesign, ongoing maintenance, customer service, research, promotion, search engine optimization.
  • Insta-Brite Mobile Washing - Original website design and organization, promotion, search engine optimization, and currently providing assistance with maintenance. Provided client with training in NetObjects Fusion and use of FTP.
  • Mid-Atlantic Integrated Assessment (MAIA) - U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) program to assess environmental resources for the mid-Atlantic region. Original website design and organization, conversion of published reports into HTML format, redesign of entire site using the EPA's standard template, current site maintenance. Included development of web-based version of the Environmental Indicators Initiative's Draft Report on the Environment.
  • MyLowCarbPages - Original website design based on client's existing logo and graphics. Currently in development.
  • Perot Systems Government Services - Environmental Services Group (click on "Services" -> "Web Development" for additional work samples) - Original website design, content development, photography, and current design and maintenance.
  • Safedrinkingwater.com - Original website design and organization. Provided training for client to take over site maintenance.
  • SWAP (Chemical Data Sets for Source Water Assessment Program) - Program website for Awwa Resource Foundation project to determine the susceptibility of public water supplies to contamination. Original website design, organization, and maintenance.
