so this was about the biggest storm i can remember. monday nite i couldn't even open my apt door to get out. pretty crazy. luckily this blizzard was followed by some really nice, warm days. funny how 40 seems "warm" after it is consistently below 20° for, like, 2 months.

when i first tried to take pictures (after gettin the door to open wide enough to stick my arm out)
i couldn't even see anything because the flakes were so big...

3-4 feet of snow drifts piled up around my front door

luckily my landlord shoveled me out before i woke up tues AM!

this is the window of my office. that's about 3 feet of snow piled up on the ledge outside.

this snow drift was about as tall as i am
